Pre-Operation Preparation and Inspection
Documentation and Qualification Requirements:
Tractors must be registered and display license plates; the vehicle license must be carried onboard.
Operators must hold a valid driver’s license corresponding to the tractor model.
The use of unregistered, scrapped, illegally modified, or uninspected tractors is prohibited.
Equipment Condition Check:
Before starting, inspect engine oil, fuel, coolant, and tire pressure to ensure no leaks or abnormalities.
Verify the transmission is in neutral and the power take-off clutch is disengaged.
Ensure safety devices (e.g., fire extinguishers, reflective markings) are intact.
Starting and Moving Off Correctly
Starting Procedure:
Unauthorized starting methods (e.g., direct jump-starting, coasting downhill, injecting fuel into the intake, or open-flame heating) are prohibited.
Electric starter operation should not exceed 10 seconds per attempt, with 2–3 minute intervals.
Remove the crank handle immediately after manual starting.
Moving Off Operation:
Before moving, check instrument readings and the surroundings, and sound the horn as a warning.
When hitching agricultural implements, disengage the power and raise the implement to a safe height.
On icy or snowy surfaces, operate the clutch and throttle gradually to prevent slipping.
Driving and Fieldwork Safety
Road Operation:
Observe traffic laws; do not overload the cab or place obstructions in it.
Never drive with both hands off the steering wheel or use feet to control the clutch.
Drive straight on slopes; avoid shifting gears, sharp turns, or coasting in neutral.
In case of breakdown, turn on hazard lights and set up warning signs.
Field Operation:
Survey the site and remove obstacles before starting work; unauthorized personnel are not allowed in the area.
Do not clear rotating components by hand or foot.
Always cut off power before addressing implement malfunctions.
Avoid loose clothing and secure long hair.
