Power Principle: Tractors burn a mixture of diesel and air in the diesel engine, converting thermal energy into mechanical energy, which is then transmitted to the running gear and other working devices through the power transmission system.

- Driving Principle: The power from the internal combustion engine is transmitted through the transmission system to give the driving wheels driving torque. The driving wheels achieve movement through the horizontal force and reaction force between the tires and the ground. Turning, parking, and other operations can be realized by manipulating the steering and braking mechanisms.

Structural Components

- Engine: The power source, generally a diesel engine, composed of a crankshaft connecting rod mechanism, ventilation system, etc., designed with low speed and high torque.

- Chassis: Including the transmission system, steering system, braking system, and running gear, etc. It connects the engine and various system components, converting engine power into driving force and traction.

- Working Devices: Usually classified as part of the chassis, including traction devices, power take-off devices, and hydraulic suspension devices, etc., used to tow, suspend, and drive agricultural implements for various operations.

- Electrical Equipment: Mainly including generators, batteries, lighting systems, instrument systems, etc., providing power and related indication and control functions for tractors.
