1. Clamp disc brake

Structure: Composed of brake calipers, brake discs, friction plates, etc. The brake caliper is equipped with a piston. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure pushes the piston, causing the friction plate to clamp the brake disc and generate braking force.

2. Wet multi disc brake

Structure: Adopting a fully enclosed structure, the inner cavity is immersed in oil, and the friction pair is composed of multiple sets of dynamic friction discs and static friction discs interlaced. When braking, the pressure plate compresses the friction pair and generates braking force.

Large braking capacity: Multiple sets of friction discs provide greater braking torque, suitable for heavy-duty conditions.

Good thermal stability: The oil cooling method effectively dissipates heat, avoiding brake attenuation, and is suitable for continuous heavy-duty braking.

Strong anti pollution ability: The sealed structure prevents dust and moisture from entering, extending the service life.

Maintenance and upkeep of brake calipers

Regularly check the wear of the friction pads: If the friction pads are severely worn, they should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid brake failure.

Keep the braking system clean: prevent dust and mud from entering the brake calipers and affecting braking performance.

Regularly replace brake fluid: Aging or contamination of brake fluid can affect braking effectiveness and requires regular replacement.

Check the sealing of the brake caliper: Wet multi disc brakes need to check whether the sealing components are aging to prevent oil leakage.
